Serena opens the season at the Gran Teatro del Liceo as Norina in Don Pasquale, under the direction of Joan Pons in a production by Damiano Michieletto.
She will make her Madrid debut twice, first at the Teatro de la Zarzuela as part of the lied cycle Notas del Ambigú with a recital of Catalan songs with Rubén Fernandez Aguirre on piano. At the end of the year the soprano will take the stage of the Teatro Real with the opera La Sonnambula singing the role of Lisa.
She returns to Berlin directed by Daniel Barenboim to sing Frasquita in Carmen, alongside Marianne Crebassa in the title role in a production by Martin Kušej.
