Multiple price winner Operalia 2022

At Operalia competition 2022 held these year in Riga, spanish soprano Serena Sáenz won the official Women’s Second Prize, the Birgit Nilsson Prize and the Pepita Embil Prize with two excellent performances, first offering a masterly aria of Zerbineta from Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss and the romanza “Me llaman la primorosa” from El barbero de Sevilla by Manuel Nieto and Gerónimo Giménez, which earned her the First Prize in the Spanish genre section.
